Overview

Roxy is broken
Aiden wants to fix her

No matter how hard Roxy tries to overcome her past, she can't. She writes on her arms to escape the pain, but nothing can soothe the ache that she feels.

Aiden didn't go to college to meet girls, he came to play football. Too bad that it is impossible for him to stay away from Roxy.

After meeting on the roof, they instantly feel connected, but neither of them are ready for love.

You Got Me is a story about new beginnings, and finding love when you least expect it.

I was really touched by this book. It was so sweet and full of love. I adored Roxy and admired her strength. I'll admit, I had trouble connecting with the characters at first. By the time I got 25% into the book, I was hooked.

Aiden is such a great guy. He cares for his family and loves the ones closest to him. He even cares for his roommate even though he hardly gets any sleep between Garry's girls and his snoring. His family struggles and he does what he can to help. Aiden's going to school and keeping his grades up so he can help provide them with a better life. He never expected to meet Roxy.

Roxy is damaged. She has suffered her whole life. Guys aren't even on her radar. Speaking to people is a challenge for her. She's been through a lot in her life and has the mental and physical scars to prove it. She now has a family that loves and supports her.

When Roxy meets Aiden, there are a million reasons they shouldn't become friends. Regardless, they do. Both of them realize they find comfort in each other that they didn't know they needed.

This book made me cry sad and happy tears. It was a stellar book with heart and I have to recommend You've Got Me to anyone who enjoys a new adult love story. This book gets five glittery stars for pure awesomeness!

    Happy story

This book eas not a very good book it was rushed and cheesy and the conversations were too open as in nobody would say that if was more like the characters toughts were spoken out loud and none of that seemed real.

But it was only .99 cents and is a happy story and i was expecting it so i gave it a gracious 4 stars even tough its not the best

It is 378 pages (i think) but the short kind of pages (one swipe)

This had a good premise - it was just never really fleshed out. Things seemed to move really quickly, but with no real reason why. I find it hard to believe they came to mean that much to each other with no explanation as to how it happened. Good ideas - just needs more.

    A must Read

Love this book. The charactors are so easy to love. The author did a wonderful job writing both point of views. I was pulled right in from the first chapter.

The journey for Roxy is riddled with a devistating childhood. She meets Aiden, slowly she opens up, she starts lowering her walls and takes a chance....I smiled, cried, and want to read so much more...hopefully there will be another book.

Grab it now....you will love it.

Weak and predictable plot. Poor characterization.

So the plot, if you can call it that, is sadly predictable in the YA/NA genre. Boy and girl meet and fall "deeply" in love in a matter of days. One of them is "damaged" in this case it is the female lead character. However, the characterization of Roxie doesn't ring true. She bounces from unstable to strong and secure. Within three days the characters are spouting thing like "you make me strong" and "I will fix her." Major eye rolls from me while reading. Add in some unprotected sex with no consequences and a flash-forward happily ever after and there you go. You have a novel with grammatical mistakes and an unbelievable plot line. I am all for self-publishing (hello Beautiful Disaster!) but sometimes authors need to slow down and EDIT their novels, or have someone else edit them a bit more before publishing. This is not worth the $2.99.
