You Have a Talent
In the village of the Zumbalas, everybody is busy exercising the talent that Jethro, their maker, gave to each one of them. A young boy named Penelo, however, doesn't know which talent has been gifted to him. In School, he is mocked by the teacher and the other boys and girls because he cannot sing like them, bake like them, or even sew as beautiful garments as they can. He then decides to take refuge inside the house of his maker, Jethro. Seeing his creature sad and crying, Jethro takes him into his arms and reassures him that he did put inside of him a very special talent! Penelo just has to find out what it is...
After the conversation with his creator, Penelo decides to go on a journey on the hills that surround his village. He must discover what his talent is. During his journey, he encounters two very special characters who will not only help him discover his talent but also help him enter into his destiny: in the service of the king of the Zumbalas.
This book is intended for young children, in order to teach them that each one of us has been gifted with a talent that makes us special. And the discovery of our talent is what projects us into our destiny!

Mother of 4 children, she now lives in the small town of West Point, Virginia, where she enjoys spending time along the riverbanks and looking at Victorian-style houses. Since university, Aurore has always been a lover of children’s literature, romance stories, and biographies. If she is not reading or writing, Aurore loves discovering new places during her free time and doing photography. She is now part of the Brandylane Publisher’s team since June 2023. You Have a Talent! Is dedicated to her son, Moses, to remind him of how precious he is in God’s sight and of the great calling he has on his life. He, like every child, just needs to find who he is in God’s plan.
