'You Made This Drink, You Drink It' was a terrific book! You feel like you're sitting in Lindsay Moss' living room and she's telling you this story! Written very conversationally, Lindsay Moss' book tells a story that deals with a serious subject but she peppers it with such fun, I couldn't put it down! I can't wait for the sequel!

Lindsay Moss has found her niche! This book is a great beach read! I laughed outloud, cried out loud, and went on a fantastical journey through the life of a beautiful spirit dancing her way from pastel-poo to pink-paradise!! What an inspiration Lexxie has become in my own quest for happiness! I can't wait for another adventure- Bring it on, Linz!

This book is for ANYONE who wants to survive the dysfunctional world we live in. Poignant, honest and very sharp witted, Lindsay Moss has the tongue of a serpent and the heart of an angel. You will NOT be disappointed!

I bought this book with the idea I would read it on my upcoming honeymoon. I started to read JUST the first chapter a few weeks before and finished the whole book that weekend. Lindsay does an amazing job at making you laugh, cry, and obsess about what crazy thing her mother will do next. This is a must read for any book club!

This was a fabulous book. I read it in one day. As soon as I was about to start crying I started to laugh. There are all kinds of ups and downs and you wanted to see where all of this was going to take Lexxie. You want to keep reading because you don't know what is going to happen and how Lexxie will react. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I would recommend it to anyone in the process of planning a wedding.

So many times I've picked up a book and been highly disappointed, until now!!! Lindsey Moss sucked me in from word one, and 9 hours later I was done. I laughed, I cried, I had chills for most of the book. There is dysfunction in all of us, but with Moss' tale comes perspective and a message. Read this phenomenal book, and you'll completely understand!!!

Praise be to the chick-lit! With 'You Made This Drink, You Drink It,' Through her tone, vocabulary and diction, Moss finds herself unique in that she exceptionally provides the reader with a voice genuine to her own. Lexxie Parker is that girl next door, the one you've always wanted to be friends with...let alone the one you've always wanted to be. Yet behind closed doors, she's cursed with a family that wrote the definition for the word crazy. What is unique is how well Moss is able to retain the humor throughout Lexxie's battles with her Lifetime movie-of-the-week mother. It just goes to show you that laughter is the best medicine, and that if we cannot laugh at ourselves, well there's just no point in laughing at all. Moss delivers this message in a heartwarming and touching portrayal of truth and love amidst the oh so strenuous ordeal of planning a wedding. And while although I traditionally prefer the happy ending of reconciliation, Moss proves that sometimes happy endings are more about the journey, and the journey thereafter that helps us overcome our demons...or the demons placed upon us by tragically flawed paternal units!

Wow! I never read books, however this one came highly recommended. I couldn't put it down and finished it in a couple of days. Keeps you wondering, what could happen next???

Moss turned this tragic tale into something very funny and relatable. You think you're getting into an easy 'Beach Read' by the pink cover of the book--but it's really dynamic from beginning to end, even gruesome at times. I thought it was brilliant, and the best book I've ever read. Ready for the next one.

Impeccable style. Fluent. True to life. I wanted 'Nat' to be MY best friend, I wanted MY beach bag, I wanted to tell 'Brenty' that I loved him, and I wanted 'Lexxie' to be in MY triangle. Next, please...

I believe Lindsay Moss has turned a funny & sometimes VERY difficult story in to something only a dancer could 'Grace.' Bravo for making the reader feel as if they where there.. even if for a very small portion of the story. I laughed, I cried, and didn't want to put the book down. I love reading a story with a strong will to survive. I work in TV & Film production in Los Angeles, and would love this screen play to come across my desk one day.

I bought this book for my fiance, thinking she would get a kick out of the whole wedding thing. After hearing how hard it made her laugh--I wanted to read it. I was impressed. I'm a construction worker, so for me to even CONSIDER reading a pink book was a big deal. But I enjoyed the dynamics of the story. You never know what's going to happen next. The author makes you laugh, wince, and think. I'm just glad my soon-to-be inlaws aren't this dysfunctional. Really well-written book.
