Not

Did not care for this book much. I think David was a wimp and Kelli was just not very likeable. The story behind the two father's feud was hard to believe.

    A Lovable Love Story

This story shows the irony of a moment's indulgence... it also shows how love can find ways of surprising all of us in one why or another...I am sure that all romance fans will love this story... Megan Moore

    The real McCoy

Police working the capital district know that anyone who serves as partner to David McCoy deserves hazardous duty pay. His last partner, Lupe Ramirez is just starting physical therapy to help her learn to walk with a reconstructed knee. At the renowned DC ¿cop bar¿ Pour House, David sees newcomer Kelli Hatfield who spots him at the same time. Something clicks as both expect a one-night stand which leads to a blissful evening of love making.
The next day, David and Kelli learn they are law enforcement partners. He already has a problem with a female covering his back, but she needs to prove she has the grit to accomplish the job. Of course, his interpretation of the job is for her to warm his bed, but she refuses a second engagement as she tries to show that she can be a good cop too.
YOU ONLY LOVE TWICE, the fourth ¿Magnificent McCoy Men¿ tale, is a wonderful contemporary police procedural romance. The fun is in observing the lead characters battle in the precinct, on the job, and in the boudoir. The return of other McCoy siblings add to the completeness of the story line as the audience gains insight into what makes David such a risk taker on the job and why he fears relationships beyond an evening or two. Anyone who has not read the tales of David¿s older brothers will seek out Tori Carrington¿s previous tales because the author is the real McCoy when it comes to entertaining novels.
Harriet Klausner
