My 4-year old niece loves this book. Not only does it teach her how to read, it also teaches valuable lessons such as appreciating differences between people, words that are not appropriate to use, and the importance of reading. The stories encourage creativity and discussion. The illustrations are very entertaining. We like the layout of the book, one reads one side, the other reads the other side, and both read what is in the middle. We can also switch sides when she has learned one side. I can see her sharing this with her friends. A very good tool for learning to read and in how to work as a team. I highly recommend this book. It is a joy to read and share.
