His town is the host to a new television show- You Suck, a reality show where vampires, from sparkly to old school, compete for the privilege of biting Delilah, keeping her young and beautiful forever. But a murderer is loose on the set and it's up to Dunn to save his father's job and solve the mystery. Oh, and his teacher is hitting on him, the football coach hates his guts, and he might lose his spot on the swim team. Like the television show, Dunn's life sucks.

I read the book “You suck.” And it was anything but "sucky". (this coming from a teen!!)
It was a great book with a good body, but the characters were a little lacking at times. I loved it though and couldn’t put it down.
Dunn was a boy trying to balance his alcoholic father and his school life, but add a job and a singing diva? Wow, full plate right?
Big plate. Delilah just wants to be able to stay beautiful and quit singing. So, her father decides to get her turned into a vampire to
stay beautiful. Then, murders take place, bringing Dunn into it all making his life that much harder.
This book kept me riveted and stuck to my seat. It was an easy read which I enjoyed when I add school work to my reading load.
But, the characters were kind of basic, they needed more difference to them in my mind. The ending was quick though maybe
because I enjoyed the story so much. I figured out "who done it" in the beginning, but the suspense was good and over all it was a
very good read! I wouldn't mind reading more from the author in a YA genre!!
