Editorial Reviews

School Library Journal - School Library Journal
Gr 2-4-- An easy, basic biography that deals mainly with Keller's youth and time with Annie Sullivan. The book is illustrated with sprightly colored drawings that go along with the text but are not outstanding. Practically the same information, with some additions on her later life and a chronology, is found in Adler's A Picture Book of Helen Keller (Holiday, 1990.) Although his book is on a slightly higher reading level, its attractive illustrations and open format have greater appeal. --Margaret C. Howell, West Springfield Elementary School, VA
