About the Author

Steven J. Brazis was born in Illinois, but moved to California with his parents when he was just a baby. He grew up just south of San Francisco in the little town of San Carlos.

He has been a family dentist in both San Francisco and then Sacramento since 1973. He has written books on dentistry and on his second love, photography. Since writing on those subjects his interests have proliferated and he finds that he loves to write.

Dr. Brazis was a past member of the Program Committee for the San Francisco District Dental Society due to his interest in continuing education and was also a member of the Northern California Dental Forum for a number of years. Today he still practices in Sacramento, California and enjoys spending time with his 5 grown kids and 3 grandkids (so far).
