    Wished I had it earlier

This book is a MUST for all those with young children entering the world of youth sports. From a former athlete's perspective, although an important part of life, athletics is certainly not the 'be all and end all.'

    Great read

A book with great insight into the world of young athletes. Very helpful for parents traversing this ground in reminding them what is truly important in these years to both the parents and the athlete. A lot of good information with just the right amount of humor.

    Practical Advice- Easy Read

I cannot believe how much of what I have experienced as a parent and a coach were covered in this book. It is essential for parents of the youngest of athletes and has a couple of chapters applicable to the junior and senior high athlete, as well. A great a gift for a parent to give to a child who has children involved in sports. I'm glad I did!
