I bought this book on a whim at Reagan National Airport before a flight home to Boston, and finished it just before arrival at Logan. It did a terrific job of answering many of the questions I, or anyone, could possibly have about air travel, and even some questions I would never have known to ask! It's easy reading presented in a straightforward way by an expert--a former airline pilot. I especially appreciated the fact that the author did not revert to humor, parody, and hyperbole, as this is a subject that lends itself well to such devices. The book addresses the niche market of those who really want to know the nuts and bolts without having to actually fly the damn plane! Every airport bookstore should sell this book.
