The book is a wonderful, quick read designed to enhance faith in the living God and how to develop a personal relationship with God. The image of the old, grumpy man in the sky, demanding perfection, and killing all joy is exposed as the false myth it has always been. There is good news and this book will help you find it, but the key is to read with an open heart as well as an open mind.

I liked this book. Phillips breaks people's views of God into two parts: Destructive and Constructive. The book is very informative and easy to read.
