Overview

In this fascinating book, Gary Renard and his Ascended Master Teachers, Arten and Pursah, teach you how to integrate advanced spiritual principles into your everyday life. Doing so leads beyond theory to an experience of the Divine and the undoing of the ego. Your progress will be accelerated to such a degree that, with continued practice, you can’t help but stop the need to reincarnate . . . once and for all.

Like Gary’s first book, The Disappearance of the Universe, this work elaborates on the teachings of two spiritual classics, The Gospel of Thomas and A Course in Miracles. By focusing on a unique brand of quantum forgiveness, rather than the old-fashioned kind, and taking the understanding of the importance of thought up to a whole new level, your goal will become nothing less than to break the cycle of birth and death.

I truly feel that anyone who reads A Course in Miracles must have the books Disappearance of the Universe and Your Immortal Reality sitting right there beside ACIM. These books are simply wonderful!! I initially read ACIM 6 years ago. However, I found myself continually re-reading the text trying to understand this unique verbiage. Then one day I was guided to purchase Gary Renards first book, The Disappearance of the Universe, and I have to say by the time I put this book down clarification was ringing for me from all fields. The message his first book delivered encouraged me to become a 'true' Course student like never before. Then along came Gary Renards second book, Your Immortal Reality, I have read both books over and over, highlighted and refer to them whenever I feel myself straying from the Course. If you haven't read these books, and are a Course student, I strongly recommend them to you. If you are new to the Course, I recommend reading these books first and then reading the text. It is like night and day reading the Course after you have read these two books. I am ever so happy that I followed my guidance that day and found myself holding The Disappearance of the Universe. And I have to say that I am forever grateful to Gary Renard for these two amazing books that have helped me to really learn to love the Course! Love and blessings....Robbie

'The way I think of others is the way I think of myself' is so important for everyone to understand and its so basic. This book is full of information to help you survive this world in what ever situation your in. It all goes back to 'you' individually and 'you' is where you have to start. Love yourself in order to love the world.

If you are starting to see that your current thought system isn't working please know that you are not alone. Gary's books can help you find a better way. "The Course In Miracles" has become my "better way". Gary's books turbo-charged my experience with The Course and made it very practical very quickly for me. Refreshing. Fun. Enlightening. User friendly. Julie P

When I first heard Gary Renard was working on another book, I thought 'well what else is there to say after the DU?' Well, in some ways, a lot! It's true that the message is always about forgiveness and the Love of God. It's also true that the message can become lost when infused with various controversies among Course students or from those of other spiritual paths. In light of this, YIR (Your Immortal Reality) serves as an important corrective for controversies that have sprung up recently in the Course community (if you could call it that) as well as a corrective for several ancillary spiritual teachings that have in various ways become associated with ACIM. As a brief example, Gary's teachers address the editing of the text of ACIM, the story of which has been somewhat distorted among some students as another example, they address kinesiology, something of a buzzword these days. Suffice to say there are several such topics that can make it difficult for students of ACIM to get to the heart of what the text is saying. Gary's new book does an excellent job of framing these issues and of bringing us back to the unadulterated message of ACIM. And, as usual, the text is full of extremely interesting tidbits about history (including an offhanded remark about Shakespeare that almost made me fall out of my chair) or about the future (better break out those Star Trek DVDs). I could go on . . . I love Gary's books. They're fun to read and, as I work through them, I have that rare feeling that every word is vital and important, especially upon reading Pursah's dictation of the Gospel of Thomas. I devoured YIR in one reading the day I got it, and have since been reading it more methodically. And I'll probably read it a third time after that. Yes, there is more to say I hope I have ears to hear.

I read this book three times in the first three months I owned it. As an eager student of spirituality for 50 years, I thank Gary, Arten and Pursah for their help. I've also gone on to study 'A Course in Miracles.' I'd like to add that the 'Enlightenment Cards,' companion to Gary's other book,'Disappearance,' are absolutely, breathtakingly beautiful! I bought several sets as gifts for friends who I know enjoyed 'Disappearance.' They're lovely to hold, inspiring to read, and I have them as reminders, displayed all over my house, used as bookmarks, etc., a great tactile experience to accompany a rewarding thought system.

Your Immortal Reality is a great follow up to The Disappearance of the Universe, which combined represent the highest spiritual teaching available. This book is about breaking the cycle of birth and death and going home, not just about making your current lifetime look and feel better. In explaining exactly how to go home, the masters discuss with the student many subjects, including politics, because that's what the student is interested in, but the end result is always to use what is being discussed to apply an advanced, or quantum form of forgiveness, (not the old fashioned kind) in order to heal the unconscious mind. There is nothing else out there that teaches precisely how to do this. BTW, for someone to erroneously suggest that this is 'thin stuff' is completely absurd. Renard's two books blow away those by so-called spiritual 'masters.'

I truly, truly LOVE this book! Gary Renard writes with a profound, authentic, genuine and down to earth manner while at the same time he brings vastly important spiritual teachings to all that are direly needed in our world today. One of my favorite quotes is from chapter 9 which is taken from A Course in Miracles: 'The voice of the Holy Spirit does not command, because it is incapable of arrogance. It does not demand, because it does not seek control. It does not overcome, because it does not attack. It merely reminds. It is compelling only because of what it reminds you of.' If people truly take in the messages, and apply them to their own personal life, imagine the positive impact this could have. Just the quote above alone would cease destruction in our world. To me, there is nothing more important than truly uplifting the spiritual consciousness of humanity, and GARY RENARD clearly does this in this book. YOUR IMMORTAL REALITY is much more than a gift to our world. It is a reminder of all we are, all we came here to be and express, and the positive rippling effects of this book can definitely make a profound difference in our world. Gary Renard is one of the greatest spiritual teachers in the twenty-first century, and YOUR IMMORTAL REALITY is one of the greatest books I have ever read, plus the ending of this book is AWESOME! Thank you, Gary, for your pure, direly needed heartfelt contribution to our world. Both you and this book are truly a gift to humanity. Deserves a thousand stars!

Your Immortal Reality: How to Break the Cycle of Birth and Death by Gary R. Renard is his second book which is in dialogue format with Ascended Masters Arten and Pursah, just as the first book is. This book goes further into the lessons taught in A Course in Miracles, especially the aspect of true forgiveness. Pursah also gives us, ‘Pursah’s Gospel of Thomas’ as according to the book Pursah was the author of The Gospel of Thomas in a past life. This book also goes over the meaning of the crucifixion which I found to be particularly interesting. Throughout this book true forgiveness is emphasized. We are also shown advanced forgiveness which tells us that forgiveness really doesn’t matter at all because none of our reality is real, it’s just a dream. We are also told that the only way to get to advanced forgiveness is by first using true forgiveness so that we can be shown by using the Holy Spirit that the only reality is Perfect Oneness with God. This book was wonderful and I loved the examples given by the Ascended Masters to use on ourselves and others to remind us that we are spirit and never separate from God. I highly recommend this book to students of A Course in Miracles and those just discovering it. I acknowledge that I received this book free of charge from Hay House in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion of the book.

I'm not given to spending a lot of time writing comments on the internet but feel compelled to express an opinion on this book. I think publishers need to be reminded that the reading public is not nearly so stupid as they take us to be and that making a buck honestly rather than pushing schlock might make them feel better about themselves and about the world -- and in passing, it might make the world a better place. The premise of this book is absurd. The narrator Gary whines a lot (when he isn't trying to tell jokes that fall flat). He comes across as generally self-obsessed and more than a little silly. The two so-called ascended beings, Arten and Pursah, are similarly self-obsessed. Their revelations, as far as I was able to follow them (and that was not far--the whole enterprise tends to make one cringe) are mostly admonitions to those who dare "steal their stuff" and are, on the whole embarrassingly, self-serving. If this is what we can hope for in the next phase of our spiritual ascent, that old saw about "heaven helping us" better be right. In the meantime, I'm trying to figure out how to get this off my e-reader...
