WomanSource Catalog & Review: Tools for Connecting the Community for WomenFiguring out what to do with your money besides blowing it can be confusing (not to mention incredibly dull). If you want to get a grip on responsible money management, this book is the best and most easily understood one I've found. Adriane Berg contends that if you make $16,000 a year or more, she will show you how to do the rest, and she does. This is a very non-neurotic guide to hangling your money, with great advice for starting out and strategies to stay out of debt. She assumes you know nothing, so not only are financial terms and investment options explained, but their origins are also described. After that, you get an excellent hand-holding tour through money management, the stocks and bonds market, real estate investment, retirement planning and taxes. The real beauty of this book is the philosophy behind it: money is not an end in itself, and time is your friend, so don't stress over either.
