VOYAThis romp through the Ivy League finds the Gossip Girl cast of characters receiving their college acceptance letters and trysting away their campus visitation weekends. The ongoing fantasy world of enormous wealth and conveniently absent parents is expanded to include the ideas of Georgetown University as a "safety," and high schoolers in possession of their own Manhattan apartments. Mixed in with the gossip is the significant message that life changes after high school: One half of a romantic couple realizes that he will outgrow his girlfriend once college begins, and another young couple discovers how mundane it is to live together. Most of the characters find spots at colleges or universities in the northeastern United States, conveniently within watch of the Gossip Girl, who will no doubt be reporting on them for many volumes to come.
