A great compliment to the author's successfull baseball video series. He addresses things like practicing in a parking lot, strategies, drills & more. Simply written, if one looks through the obvious, this is a terrific creative reference book.

The author structured many drills in a concise easy to understand format. I would have liked to see more explanations but i've bought numerous books and videos on youth baseball and this is one of the best I've seen. The appropriate age for this book are youth baseball teams 7-12 years old. There are numerous beneficial hints the author gives throughout the beginning of each chapter. Leagues who think that there youth baseball coaches run inferior practices need to get a copy of Schupak's 'Youth Baseball Drills'. A guarantee of making practices more fun and useful.

This is a terrific resource for Little League coaches & parents. Not only does the book contain over 70 relevant drills, it gives you sample practices. Each drill is explained in detail with a diagram showing the placement of all the players. This book will eliminate a lot of the guess work for youth baseball coaches who are not sure how to run practices. This is a 'Grand Slam' and local leagues, recreation departments and baseball loving parents should make this part of their library. It is a great compliment to his '59 Minute Baseball Practice' video.
