About the Author

Bruce Eamon Brown is a special presenter for the NAIA's "Champions of Character Program." Previously, he served as the athletic director as Northwest College in Kirkland, Washington. A retired coach, he worked and experienced success at every level of education (junior high, high school, community college, and college) in his more than three decades of coaching and teaching. Brown is also the director of ProActive Coaching, a company that conducts workshops on how to achieve an enhanced level of effectiveness in coaching team sports and how parents can assume their proper role in athletics. Brown is the author of six books on sport, character, and coaching and has been featured on seven well-received coaching videos.
