... i can't wait for the movie to come out august 13th! so far, the soundtrack sounds totally awesome! ... if anyones curious, the voice actor for yami yugi/ yugi is Dan Green, yeah, and he said it was fun to voice to movie! ... he also totally agrees that yami yugi's name isn't supposed to be yami... they were considering pharoah or spirit...

I really bought the CD the day after its official release, and I've already listened to it a few times since then, so I'm posting my review now. This album has many interesting songs relating to the Yu-Gi-Oh! movie and anime. Below, I've given a simple review of each song and how I rate it out of 10 (with 10 being the highest). 1.You're Not Me-kinda tells about how difficult Yugi's life has been, even after he solved the Puzzle. A nice Yugi theme. 8/10 2.For The People-my least favorite song on this CD. I just don't think they should've put a rap song next to such action- packed songs (like the previous song). 7/10 3.One Card Short-tells about how never give up in the game of life and how to show your full potential. 8/10 4.Step Up-a nice song telling how to step up and face your fears. One of my favorites! 8/10 5.Shadow Games-a very nice Anubis theme, telling of how he remembers the Pharoah, and that he won't be beaten again. My favorite on this CD! 10/10 6.It's Over-tells of how even though no one can take your life away from you, it can sometimes seem easy to give up. 8/ 10 7.Blind Ambition-this weird, but cool song, tells of how people can be too ambitious in life. 8/10 8.The Great Pretender-a cool song, but I'll have to see the movie to know what this song truly means. 8/10 9.How Much Longer-kinda tells of how Yugi's thinking about how much longer these horrors will last until he can live an easier life. 8/10 10.U Better Fear Me-another Anubis song, this time he's telling of how fearful he really is and that he can bring the world to an end. 9/10 11.Power Within-this song tells about Anubis's Millennium Item's true power. One of my true favorites. 9/10 12.Believe In-this song tells you that you have to believe in the ultimate power of friendship. 8/10 13.Yu-Gi-Oh! Theme-a great mix of the first and second season (Pegasus and the first season with Marik) theme songs of the American release of the anime. A good song to start the CD off with something truly Yu-Gi-Oh! 8/10 I hope that this review helps some of you Yu-Gi-Oh! fans decide about getting this CD. It is GREAT!!

the music on this soundtrack is really great. my favorite is "You're Not Me". Also, I just want to say that the person who said "You're Not Me" is about Yugi is wrong. It's about Kaiba.
