It is a memorable collection of comics, and it is perfect for picking up in any mood. It can stimulate and sooth any mood good or bad. I reccomend this comic book to any Calvin and hobbes Collector, but also to any newcomer to the world of Calvin and Hobbes.

I love the stories in this book! Like the transmogrifier gun incident, where Calvin and Hobbes turn each other into all sorts of different creatures. That's classic! I loved the one where Calvin pretends he's a bat and in reality he's tossing food into his mouth in a restaurant. 'Glump! Ta-da! Eyes closed!' And I thought I was rude! And the one where Hobbes ties up Calvin and he can't get loose. 'Hobbes did it, Dad! He was going to hold me for ransom! Honest!' Calvin's Dad spanks him and after Dad leaves, Hobbes sticks his tongue out at Calvin and goes, 'Ransom?? Who'd pay for you, you big fibber?!' LOL!

"Yukon Ho" was the first Calvin and Hobbes collection that I ever read. I was twelve-years-old at the time and was not an avid newspaper reader, so I had never followed Calvin and Hobbes from day-to-day on the funny pages. I immediately fell in love with the characters because I saw so much of myself reflected in them. Like Calvin, I was an only child, so my imagination played an extremely important part in my life. Being able to go on an extravagant adventure without ever leaving your own backyard... This I could identify with. This book is very much worth your while. I would suggest it to anyone.
