This package was yet another attempt to cash in on the late-'90s retro craze for "swing" music and dancing. Artists loosely working in the swing idiom are featured on a selection of the type of obligatory Christmas theme recordings that proliferated in the major label's catalogs back in the 1940s, '50s, and early '60s.
