She tries sleeping with cows, sheep, ducks, chickens, goats, and even frogs but is mooed, baaed, quacked, clucked, naaed, and gribbited away when she wakes them up. She even tries sleeping with the people in the house but is again turned away. The pig finally figures things out and goes to sleep with the barn owls. All of the ingredients for success are here: a quick pace, repetitive phrasing, a chance to participate by making animal sounds, a satisfying conclusion, and bright clear illustrations.
