Editorial Reviews

CM Magazine
"The dialogue and action-filled plot move the story along at a fast pace, and many of the chapters end at a suspenseful point...Recommended."
Children's Literature - Laura J. Brown
Do you really know the people you encounter as well as you think you do? Siblings Zach and Zoe think they know their next-door neighbor, Mr. Dotty. Mr. Dotty is a man of fun and adventure, and Zach and Zoe enjoy spending time with him exploring the area around their neighborhood. Mr. Dotty is kind and friendly; he always has time for Zach and Zoe. Then, early one morning, Zach sees Mr. Dotty and notices that he had two suitcases. Zach wonders why Mr. Dotty had two suitcases, but Zoe comes right out and asks him about the two suitcases. For the first ever, Mr. Dotty isn't very friendly. He is in a hurry and tells them he is going on a trip. Zoe asks where Mr. Dotty is going, and he tells her. After dinner that night, there is a report on the news about a bank robbery in the very town Mr. Dotty said he would be visiting. In addition, he worked at a local branch of the bank that was burgled. Could Mr. Dotty really be a bank robber? Zach and Zoe are determined to find out. This is a delightful mystery that readers will enjoy. Reviewer: Laura J. Brown
