Noelle Mitchell never explained why she abruptly ran away from home at the age of fifteen. All anyone knew was that her boyfriend, Reno, convinced her to abandon her family. But when she shows up at the family house on Christmas thirteen years later, what’s revealed about her absence will either tear her family further apart or bring them closer together.

This was an excellent short story. It is about personal mistakes and asking for forgiviness. I was looking for more by the author but I am not interested in sex books. This one is great!

What happens when you look out of the window of your life and realize that the world is crumbling down around you? That's the question Noelle had to ask herself. This short story is the answer she chose. It's a quick read, but a good story. It's a tale of repentance and forgiveness, a true "pay attention" to those raising young children. I would have liked to see the story develop more and to get the "what happens next," but even this short snippet is a true demonstration of talent

Overview: Noelle Mitchell never explained why she abruptly ran away from home at the age of fifteen. All anyone knew was that her boyfriend, Reno, convinced her to abandon her family. But when she shows up at the family house on Christmas thirteen years later, what’s revealed about her absence will either tear her family further apart or bring them closer together.
This story was short but sweet. What I enjoyed most was how the mother welcomed Noelle home after 13 years with no questions asked. There is nothing like a mother’s unconditional love for her children. This book was free, but could have easily sold with no problem. Truly felt the love and pain reading this story.

Complete letdown, in my opinion. Was resolved in a tidy fashion on one page after a huge buildup. Went from page turning to really annoyed.
