Following the mantra "Zombies Are People, Too", Zaphod Zombie is the story of a young man -- who just so happens to be undead -- simply trying to survive life, death, sex, friendships, and everything in between.

Most people think of zombies as mindless monsters, shambling their way to the nearest available brain. Zaphod would beg to differ. Hell, he doesn't even LIKE brains. Ever since he joined the ranks of the undead, Zaphod has been having a hard time fitting in. After getting fired from his job, kicked out of the motel he was staying at, and facing prejudice and racism everywhere he turns, Zaphod finally catches a break when he finds a room to rent on craigslist.

    Fun book, great read!

I am a 16 year old girl, and I found this story hilarious. It is funny, a little crude, and somewhat dark. I love Zaphod's character. He is a cyncial zombie, and reading the book from his point of view makes it hilarious. This book really seems to poke fun at today's society--from the teens of today to the way the world works--and I found it very enjoyable. There is some talk of sex/porn and other topics along those lines, but other than that I thought it was a great book. I would love to read more from this author!

    Great story

Really awesome story from the undeads perspective. Istarted reading this and couldnt put it down, it may be only 84 pgs but I still read it rather quickly. I only wish that it was longer.

    Quirky and fun

A book with characters unlike any that you've encountered before, and I recommend that you read it. The author reveals the darkness of societal bigotry and racism by making the main character "living impaired" and giving us the opportunity to see the world through his eyes. The author deftly uses humor, subtle plot twists, and quirky characters to open our eyes to a true human problem.

I agree that the logic gap between the end of Chapter Nine and the beginning of Chapter Ten is jolting. It took several minutes for me to get back into the flow of the story.

All-in-all, I highly recommend this book. It is appropriate for mid-teen readers through adults.

    Zaphoid

Very different from anything i've read before (and i read stories of vampires, warewolves and time travel). Really enjoyed the story. Surprised by the last few chapters.....didn't see the ending till i got there. There is a lot of foul language so would not recommend for young children or even early teens. Surprisingly moral story in the end though.

    Author has no clue

Could've enjoyed story without author's continued comparison of being "undead" to being a minority. I know author has no experience with the former, and doubt very seriously the latter.
