Interesting read.

Very interesting book by Thomas Hoover about the influence of Zen on Japanese art and culture. Everything from the ceramics to the architecture has been influenced by Zen thinking. Such an informative book. It was well researched and I felt confident Mr Hoover was not deceptive in his expertise on the subject.

Thomas Hoover takes a comprehensive look at how Zen philosophy has created the modern Japan we see today. Not a bad book, but at times rather dull.

Read it twice at the least! A Zen Koan lifetime ¿ 2 if lucky! Down with hackers, no room in zen for idiots like dandy andy dabek what a waste of a life or duck & cover. Dabek needs his snip & cut in Amsterdam. We wait with zen patience!
