I don't buy a lot of cookbooks, because I have so many. But, this one is worth every penny. I love bein able to see what whatever I am cooking is supposed to look like, like the Raspberry Poached Pears. This cookbook offers that and so much more with a picture on every page. I am loving everything from the Turkey Meatballs, which I made as appetizers and not for a sandwich to the Black Forest Cookies. I will admit that I skipped over the weight loss information. I am one of those people that are singing the praises of The Hungry Chick Dieting Solution from Chef Jai Scovers. I have been using it for several months and I have never felt better because it offers a common sense approach to weight loss. I have been dieting for over 10 years and never lost a pound until now. The information in Hungry Chick to ensure that you are drinking the right amount of water is worth the price of the book alone. But, I digress. If you want great recipes, try the Zero Belly Cookbook, but if you want to learn how to enjoy all of the foods in to without all of the guilt, buy The Hungry Chick Dieting Solution. Hope that helps!

Being a big fan of the original Zero Belly book, I bought this because, if the first book was lacking anything, it was recipes. So I was excited to see 150 here from this top New York chef and they take less than 30 minutes, some even 15. The book is divided like this: -Breakfasts, with tons of egg and oats recipes -Lunches, which includes salads and sandwiches and burgers, and this cool mason jar idea -Dinners, I loved the salmon -Snacks -Desserts, including a chocolate cake that took 25 minutes to make but tasted like a restaurant. I mean, you can eat chocolate!!!! I've followed David Zinczenko since the Abs Diet and the today show appearances for Eat This, Not That, and he's always delivered, and did it again. Just thought I'd help spread the word, because I believe you don't have to sacrifice flavor to eat healthy.

My husband and I started the Zero Belly Diet on Valentine's Day 2015. Within 2-weeks I lost 16 pounds and my husband 20. This diet has now become a lifestyle change for us, as we've continued to follow it to this day. It's the easiest diet to follow and adapt to and we've managed to maintain our weight lost. Furthermore, our skin and hair is softer and when we eat something not on the Zero Belly Diet, for instance a deli sub, our bodies react to it. I was excited when asked to be part of the test panel for this new cookbook and even more excited that I'm now a published author with a recipe on pages 114-115. Almost every recipe I tested was superb and I've made them over and over. Most cookbooks I have, I may use 10 to 12 recipes. I've gone through every page of this new cookbook and I can honestly say that I will be trying at least 120 of the 150+ recipes and I can already tell this will quickly become my favorite cookbook. My husband will likely try 97 of them. He's a little pickier than me. The recipes are easy, quick to make, you'll likely already have most ingredients, double easy for leftovers during the week and absolutely delicious. Bon appetit!!!
