If heaviness is next to Godliness, Kidneythieves took a few steps closer to heaven on Zerospace. Taking cues from the more arduous Trent Reznor abrasions as opposed to the likes of Garbage and Curve, the talented duo still manages to employ hook-laden songcraft that would work whether the listener's intent is to bang their head the title track, the explosive "Black Bullet" or shimmy seductively across a dancefloor the haunting "Arsenal" and Patsy Cline's "Crazy," which was originally on the Child's Play 4: The Bride of Chucky soundtrack. Industrial with a sensitive side.

Kidneythieves are the best band(that nobody's heard of) that you'll find. Believe me, I've looked. The music is . Free dominguez's voice is one of the best I've heard. I'm ready to compare Free's voice to Tori Amos or Aimee Echo formerly of Human Waste Project. It's dark industrial pulse with passion.

    Music Redefined

Awhile back, I was getting tired of my music, and I asked a good friend who knows tons of bands if he had any suggestions. He blew a few thousand at me and they were all the same to my ears. However, this song called zerospace by KidneyTheives really caught my ear. Before long I was downloading tons of their songs and soon buying every CD that they produced. It's hard to describe what it is about KidneyThieves that makes them so appealing. Perhaps the great vocals, the nice guitars, the interesting audio effects that touch into the techno type music. It is hard to catagorize KidneyThieves as anything catagory of music. It is totally on its own level and amazing in everyway.

    You gotta check this out.

You're really gonna love this if you like any of the following: NIN, Marilyn Manson, Filter, Stabbing Westward, Sister Machine Gun, or (if you've heard of them) Zeromancer. I recommend this to everyone who has any sort of taste whatsoever. It's amazing that two people can produce this great of a sound. It's a must buy.

    This Is Definetely Worth Buying

This CD is awesome!! If you like the sound of NIN, but want more abstract lyrics then buy this cd. Also, if you're a KT fan, then you should know that Trickster Reprocess, which includes a bonus DVD, is currently available on their online store. *Rock On*

They are the best band in the World!!!

The Kidneythieves are the best band in the world. I am a huge fan and I have all of their cds. The first time I heard their songs "feathers" and "creature", I was hooked. If you really like them, have all their albums and want something more, check out their "Live in Chicago" cd only sold on the Kidneythieves website. If you haven't seen them live and you want to, you will definitely have to get this album!!

i'm a very big fan of the kidneythieves and have been for years. There's just something about the female vocals with hard edgy music that makes me swoon. i'd definitely recommend this cd. i'd also suggest that others check out the Live In Chicago CD at the online KT store!

    i am a fallen zero

Kidneythieves are wicked. This album is amazing, you get really hard fast tracks, slow ethereal tracks, and you get Free 'freestylin' on zerospace (haha) how can you go wrong? At first i would skip around only listening to the faster tracks until I realized that the other tracks were just as amazing but in a different way. Free's vocals have been known to give me me goosebumps occasionally. Stop by their site and pick up their Live In Chicago CD. THe passion this band puts into their music is incredible, watching them on stage at that show was awesome. I can relive that experience everytime i pop in the Live CD. Check it out, it has songs from both zerospace and trickster + 2 bonus tracks.

    Great album

I discovered Kidneythieves a little over a year ago when I heard their song “Before I’m Dead” on the Queen of the Damned Soundtrack. They really impressed me, and since then I have seen them live twice, and I have purchased all of their albums including Zerospace. This album is amazing and has become one of my favorites. Free Dominguez has a beautiful voice, and there isn’t one song on the album that I dislike. I definitely suggest buying this album along with their “Kidneythieves Live in Chicago 2002” CD which is exclusively available on their online store.

    Leaning towards industrial

This is a hard edged leaning towards industrial than metal rock. When I first listened to it, I couldn't understand some of the rythm cause I was new to industrial style rock. Anyone who likes Gothic and dark (unlike Gothic) movies, or vampire movies will definitely like this style of music. Just make sure you're not driving while listening to this music. I tend to get an aggressive rush of adrenaline.

    Good

The sound of their songs are very interesting, at least to me. I personally like this type of music but I can definitaly say it is not for everyone, listen to at least one of the songs before you buy.
