The second I started to read the book, I could sense an adventure was gonna take place! First, Charles Peterson meets Ziggy, an over excited dachaund, and his owner allows Charles to walk him while she shows four other dachaunds! Second, Rose's husband is starting to get annoyed by Ziggy, so Charles agrees to adopt him! Third, Ziggy digs a hole under the peterson's fence, and goes missing in just a matter of seconds! Fourth, after looking for the Zigster (nickname: Houdini) Charles finds him twice, but he can not capture him, and he realizes he is gonna have to tell Rose that her dog, Ziggy is missing! Last, Rose says that her husband will just habe tolearn to live with 11 dogs, (not counting the pups) or not be able to live with her at all!

Charles finds Ziggy at a dog show his aunt Amanda brought him to. The owner of Ziggy is Rosie. She says she can't take care of him anymore becase she has too much other dogs. She said Charles could foster Ziggy untill he finds him a good home. Charles takes Ziggy home to play outside in the yard with his other dog, Buddy. They have a good time playing together. But Ziggy digs a hole under the fence and runs away. Charles had never lost a foster puppy before. So he looks his best to find Ziggy. Charles makes lost posters to find Ziggy. Mom gets a call. Charles rides his bike down to where they said Ziggy was at. Two people were standing there. "He ran off. He is not here anymore," the two people say. Charles gets a call from mom saying someone found Ziggy in their yard. He goes to look and mom comes too. The people that owned the house showed Charles where Ziggy was. "ZIGGY!!!!!!" shouts Charles. But Ziggy got frightened and ran off into the woods. Read this to find out what happens. ...ps sorry if i gave too much info

The ending was bot very good because in all the other books you don't give back the dog to the owner. Its better when the dog goes to a new owner. Waste of money people do not buy it . It will waste your money
