Written in first person, which I don't prefer, felt a bit choppy and you got lost easily. Not a fun-filled read to me. Well...it was free though. Hard to follow which person he was when. To my way of thinking it was NOT WELL pulled together. ...and then it ended.

Really good short romance. A little tension, suspense, action, and love, all in less than 100 pages.

    WORTH READIHG!
    Total Pages: 89...Story Pages: 70
Novella in the Southern Arcana series; goes in between Book 2 & Book 3. Introduces Zola into the series (a feline shifter--Lion). Would have given the book 5 stars but it was way too short.

3.5 stars. Short but pretty good. The writing style was great, the characters well put together and sexy. I would've liked to have known more about Walker's and Zola's background and her mother. For sure I'd read another story by this author.
