The Zombie Chronicles 2: Discovery

The suburbs of Denver were no place to stay during a zombie outbreak, even worse the nuclear fallout was making the place downright uninhabitable. Max and his companions needed to get out of town fast, before they joined the ranks of the living dead or the just good old fashioned dead.

This is book two in the Zombie Chronicles Trilogy, not a stand alone novel

Meet the Author

Mark Clodi (born March 30th, 1969) is the author of many zombie apocalypse novels and short stories. At an early age Mark was hooked on fantasy and the pulp fiction of the 'Golden Age of Science Fiction'. While moving around the mid-west with his parents he continued to feed his frenzied reading by buying fiction at yard sales and utilizing the local libraries. The thought of actually becoming a writer struck him at an early age, but he never followed through on his dream until he was much older and 'settled in' to a career as a computer programmer. His writing started one day while trading emails back and forth with Mike Keleman, the co-author of his first book. They started assigning chapter numbers to the emails and the rest, as they say, is history.
He lives in a small town in Iowa in the United States with his family and many pets. On any given Saturday night no matter what the temperature, rain or shine, you can find him on the rough 'man-deck' behind his house grilling, reading and listening to the radio by the light of an L.E.D. light.

Interesting story, great ideas, but the grammar/spelling/editing was HORRIBLE. Some parts were unreadable (too many typos, I had to go back and re-read to understand what was being said).

Mark, I love all the effort you put into your books. Yes, I really do, but, if you need a proof writer, please call! Seriously, his stories are good, but there are tons of errors (incomplete sentences, run on sentences, misuse of punctuation, etc.) In addition, he seems to feel the need to describe every possible scene/movement/item as if he were designing a theater setting for stage. For example, after saying a zombie was pushing a baby carriage, he minutely described every detail of the carriage! At times, I felt I was grading and correcting a ton of semester papers for high school students; it became quite tedious. I know I will read another one of his books when I have the time and energy to tackle it. Till, then, keep on trying; you have my best wishes.

I have read pretty much every zombie novel series out there, this one is so much fun. Please dont stop writing! I think this zombie chronicles universe is amazing. Not too many writers can write about smart zombies and not be cheesy. I love the first max story and love the second even more. Im starting the third one right now and i imagine another great review after im done. Steve w.
