Sample just didn't do it for me

With the reviews ranging from great to poor I downloaded the sample. That was the end of the book for me. First, the sample is only 7 pages I don't know how long the full book is but you can't really hook the reader with 7 pages. Nook pages btw, not any length for me to decide if i want to get it or not. If you want me to spend money you need to give me more bait. A lot like fishing, need good bait to get a good bite.

    more from this reviewer

    Not so good.

I found Zombie Dawn: Outbreak to be pretty poorly written. The dialogue between characters seems stripped down to bare bones minimum, and even then it seems forced at times.

Regardless, I am glad that the author is finding success, but as zombie books go, there's plenty better out there.

    Ok Series

The book has a lot of potential but way too many characters and stories. I am excited to see where book two picks up.

    Nice Surprise

I purchased this book (to later include the other two books in the series once I was hooked) on a whim from the under $5 section of NOOK. What a surprise! This series was great. Zombie-riffic!
