Mark Tufo is a great storyteller. Scary, scary stuff - John Ramsey Miller author of the nationally bestselling THE LAST FAMILY
Amazon - J S
This book tells the backstory to the Zombie Fallout series. As usual Tufo's writing is engaging, drawing the readers into the characters predicament. The story wraps up some loose ends and sets the stage for the next installment in the ZF series. Be sure to read Zombie Fallout, Zombie Fallout 2: A Plague Upon your Family, ZF 3: The End.

    more from this reviewer

An excellent addition to an excellent Series.

It's almost as if Mark gave us a present in releasing Dr. Hugh Mann. He must have known we were 'jonesing' for his writing. Thank you Mark! Although it's a prequel, if you're new to the series, read this AFTER book 3.

This is from someone else's review of the ZF series, but I couldn't say it any better and thoroughly agree:
Cumulatively, they are an epic apocalyptic tale, which reminded me of Steven King's The Stand and Robert McCammon's Swan Song. Elements of horror, paranormal, supernatural, and dark humor elevate this series beyond your typical zombie fare. These elements, along with Mike's quirky personality & fierce, protective love of his companions, make this series poignant and worth reading. Highly recommended.

I am so excited for ZF 4 to arrive in October.

Nice addition to the Zombie Fallout Series. It fills in a bit of the back story of how the Zombies came to be. Make sure you don’t read this before book 3, or else it won’t make a lot of sense. I rated it 3 stars on this book alone, but if you’ve read the series then I would definitely recommend this book.

This was a highly enjoyable sidebar from the main storyline and characters. Real fast read, Some of the word play is tongue in cheek - but still enjoyable.

I love all of the books of the ZF series, all of the books offer

I love all of the books of the ZF series, all of the books offer more fear than any thing a reader could possibly imagine , I have read many Zombie books I really I like the ZF series because, Mark Tufos does not hold back on the gruesome details, I have stayed up many a nights scared and to caught up in the drama to put the book down. I love the characters all of them are funny in a very human way, I find my self caring about their safety, I like Mike Talbot and his family he truly is a modern man doing the best he can in serious situations this character always sees the irony of things, I find Mark Talbot hilarious in a Zombie world , the characters really come to life in all of the books, I cant get enough of this series , I wish they would make the whole series into movies.Mark Tufos has raw talent that can not be mistaken for a fluke.
