Coach Graves is a little rough around the edges, but she's good at what she does. That is until a strange old lady turns up at one of their practices. After that, Coach Graves has a vacant look in her eyes, mumbles and groans in response to the kids, and moves like she's back from the dead. Can the kids break the spell and bring their coach back to normal in time for their big game?

With humor, suspense and mystery, this popular series continues as The Bailey School Kids investigate a new soccer coach whose spacey stare has them worried. Will her hard-driving practice sessions turn them into winners or zombies?

Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Anita Barnes Lowen
Coach Ellison has given up coaching soccer for good; now the Bailey School Boomers have a new coach. But there is something seriously strange about her. Coach Graves is a huge woman who has come all the way from New Orleans to coach their team. She is tough. She yells when the team does something wrong, which means she is yelling a lot. But she cheers when they do something right and she has some good advice. Maybe with her help they will have a winning team. But after Coach Graves is confronted by a very scary old woman, she is not doing anything at all. Was that old woman a witch and did she curse Coach Grave? Is it possible that Coach Graves is a zombie? And what can the Boomers do to get her out of her comatose state? They need her desperately if they are going to have any chance of winning the big game against the Sheldon Shooters. From "The Adventures of The Bailey School Kids" series, this book (#15) is easy to read and is purely entertaining. Illustrated with black-and-white drawings.

    Love the Bailey School Kids

My son loved this book! Any book that has a kid running to you and telling you what happened in it practically chapter by chapter is a good book! These are not even remotely scary.
