Meet the Author

I was born and raised in New York City. I graduated from New York University with a degree in Computer Science and went on to do some programming for about 2 years. Later on I left programming to buy a comic book and gaming store. After a few years of that, I changed careers again. Now I teach math and computer science in a New York City high school. I am married with 2 children.

Writing and gaming (the face to face kind) are my first loves. In addition to my books, I've written a tabletop miniatures adventure game. The rules can be downloaded for free at my web site.

Just completed Zombies by Ivan Turner books 1 – 10. This was a very good story, stretched out over 10 books, I guess it was originally published in monthly episodes but I was lucky enough to get all 10 at B & N so I could read them back to back. I hate having to wait months or longer for the next in a series. Anyway, each episode is 200-300 pages long. The series is a good story with good character development and how the characters reacted and lived through a zombie apocalypse in New York City. There is some blood and guts, but the stories don’t dwell on it. Lots of human interaction with the zombies. On to the next set which I hope has already been completed and I can read as I did this set. Thank you Ivan Turner for a really good story.

    Another great episode.

How can each episode have more than 200 pages but only take five minutes to read? It's just too good to pace myself. I'm pretty pissed that there is only one more episode.

    Love it!

    >>A well deserved four stars. Great story, well paced, fully developed characters, action packed! The twist on the zombies is pretty fresh, too.

Very well written. Not thrilled with the big twist at the end. Not surprised by it and it was well done. Just left me feeling "crap he is really going to go there". Please let it go somewhere cool in part 10.

Characters are great and will keep reading the series.
