After spending the afternoon helping the 10 and 12 year-old, girl and boy, attach a digital camera to the bill of an old baseball cap to get that first person shakey-cam effect on their home-made zombie videos, I knew the wife and I had raised them right.
Hopefully, the police won't stop and ask why the kids are chasing each other with bats.
When the two year old cried, "I want to be in a zombie video," I smile. On Halloween, she would become a zombie fairy thanks to monster makeup, a leotard with wings, and a great zombie growl.
The fifteen year old just rolls her eyes at her siblings, but I know she wishes she was younger so she could enjoy it. After all, not long ago, she used to pretend to be a nature guide with an Australian accent...and who didn't.
Of course, none of that is what I write about, but is everything I wrote for...fun.
This is just another way of me having fun with the kids.
