About the Author

Shubhra Sharma received her Ph.D. in social anthropology from the University of Texas at Austin. She is the author of "Neoliberalization" as Betrayal: State, Feminism, and a Women's Education Program in India (Palgrave Macmillan, 2011). She has written numerous articles about social justice, identity politics, and the environment. Shubhra Sharma has also taught at various undergraduate institutions in the US, including Vanderbilt University.
