Meet the Author

Kevin Andrew is a Physical Therapist, US Army disabled combat veteran and first-time author. Kevin lives and works in Austin, Texas with his wife, Eugenia, and twin teenage children Aspen and Kevin. His book, Zuzu’s Petals, chronicles Kevin’s battle to overcome physical and emotional difficulties resulting from his battlefield experiences during the First Gulf War. Kevin is a devoted practitioner of Ashtanga Yoga which has played a major role in his emergence from depression to a more healthy and positive outlook on life. Kevin’s hope is that “Zuzu’s Petals” will provide a path for fellow veterans and others with disabilities to follow in their quest for a more meaningful and fruitful life.

    Join Kevin as he invites you to walk along side him and witness

    Join Kevin as he invites you to walk along side him and witness through his eyes, how he found the strength, peace, and determination to face some of the most challenging of life events. You will come away with a desire to learn more about the benefits and use of meditation and yoga.
    Having read his journey, hopefully you will have a better appreciation for why meditation and yoga are being implemented into so many areas, from helping combat vets to America's foster children!
    Highly recommended read!

    A must read for Service Members, Veterans and Yoga enthusiasts.

    Zuzus Petals is a soul bearing journey by a man trying to come to terms with his incurable combat related illness. At a time when all branches of the Military are embracing Yoga as a way to deal with the stresses of multiple deployments and combat related problems, Kevin Andrew has found his own solace through this centuries old coping technique.
