Soft? Not Quite

| In the introduction to Who's Sorry Now, Pantoliano touches on the September 11 attacks and does some reflecting on dreams and the human heart. Anticipating "a guy sitting in his plaid worn living room reclining chair somewhere in Jersey City" disappointed to see Joey Pants getting "soft" on the reader, he offers a response.
I know you're out there. Just calm down, relax, and read this like the good boy that you are, unless, of course, you'd rather I come over there and show you a little disciplinary trick or two I picked up from a couple of the outstanding specimens of humanity I've portrayed over the years. You might be upset to know how natural those roles actually are for a guy like me.

Glen O. Gabbard Unlikely as it may seen, The Sopranos has inspired a virtual subgenre of critical literature about the hit show. Psychiatrist Gabbard applies his expertise to deconstruct the series' universal appeal. And Chris Seay writes in his study of Soprano spirituality: "I have not yet traded in my Bible for HBO, but I think the two go together quite well." Amen.
