Overview

U lo tikhanya - Is a leading question. Loosely translated, it means “You ravaged yourself”. This novel is written to match the interests and reading levels of high school learners. The novel forms an important part of the reading component of the current curriculum and must be used in addition to the class reader.

The novel is about a boy called Maxonisi aged 18 from a village called Machisela. He is natural intelligent and too ignorant at the same time. Maxonisi started his schooling very well without any obstacles until he commit himself into alcohol and drugs.
