Long gone are the days when being a Star Wars fan meant watching (and rewatching!) a handful of movies. These days, keeping tabs on what’s happening in the galaxy far, far away means following a myriad of television series, comics, video games, and, yes, books—sometimes all at once. Such is the case with the Star Wars Battlefront novels, inspired by the video game series of the same name.

In 2015, Alexander Freed’s Battlefront: Twilight Company told the story of Galactic Civil War from the boots-on-the-ground perspective of a team of grunts in the Rebellion’s equivalent of the infantry. This July’s followup, Battlefront II: Inferno Squad by Christie Golden, flips the script, focusing on a group of soldiers for the Empire, battling the guerrilla forces of Saw Gerrera, who you may remember from his appearance in the film Rogue One.
Like all the recent Star Wars novels, Battlefront: Inferno Squad will be published in an exclusive edition you can only get at Barnes & Noble. This one features a poster that presents on one side the gorgeous wraparound cover, minus all the text—the better to drink in all the fiery detail of the Empire’s elite troops in battle. Flip the poster over for a look at a work-in-progress version featuring editorial comments and sketches.
You can see both sides of the poster below, and preorder a copy of the B&N edition now.
