Dr Schaeffer tells us that we are individually philosophers acting out the beliefs we hold in our heads and our hearts daily. Through the cacophony of alternate beliefs and philosophies (which he termed presuppositions or world views) which engulfs the modern man, the author has given us a single persuasive and compelling argument for the Christian faith and its world view. Particularly poignant reading for those investigating both sides of the Christian position. Compelling.

This book (and the film series) showed me the undesirable conclusion of modern philosophies. He showed the inevitable result of rationalism was that life is meaningless. This book showed me how to look for the connection between the philosophy of the artist and their work. This is a must read for all students of philosophy, history and Christianity.
