I just began to eliminate dairy from my diet, but i saw the comment below and want people to know that there are dairy free chocolate chips. So please don't let that stop you from buying this book. It is very helpful!

I've been allergic to milk my entire life, but could tolerate some dairy once in a while until recently. It is said that milk allergies commonly worsen as one gets older. So now have had to aggressively eliminate all milk and milk-related ingredients (whey, caseins, lactose) from my diet. This book helped me achieve that! There is even a great section on eating out as well as many great recipes. Thank you for writing this book!

This book was fabulous for me, I just found out that I am allergic to milk. What a HUGE help this book has been. It gave a lot of great information on ways to sustitute for milk in recipes. A great collection of recipes as well.

Great variety of recipes from substitute dairy products, to entrees to side dishes and desserts. I tried the "Tofu Cottage Cheese", it was fabulous. I'm not a big tofu fan but for someone who hasn't been able to eat cottage cheese in 10 years it was heaven. Can't wait to try other recipes.

I am disappointed that a lot of the deserts have chocolate chips in them! How is that dairy free???? This book needs a new title!!
