Talk about getting it straight for a (religious) man to mature into a Christian man - this is a very good roadmap. I re-read it every few years so I can dust off the 'overlooked' areas of my life and get back in balance. We do not have a God of chaos. Dr. Getz's book takes a tremendous amount of uncertainty out of a man's thinking; anchors him to the Word of God. This is one of those books that you would do well to get 5 copies so you have them to pass out to anyone who would ask you 'Where do I start?'

God's design for us is to be Christlike... a radical change from the inside out. Excellent for personal reading or even more life-changing when done as a small group study.
