About the Author

Colin Fleming's work has recently appeared in The Atlantic, Sports Illustrated, Rolling Stone, and The Boston Globe, with fiction lately featuring in the VQR, Post Road, Boulevard, and Black Clock. His third book, The Anglerfish Comedy Troupe: Stories from the Abyss, is due in spring 2015 from Dzanc, and he is completing a novel about a reluctant piano prodigy called The Freeze Tag Sessions, and a memoir, I Am Not Like You: A Broken Man's Attempt to Write His Way Out of Hell One Story, Book, Deadline, and Note-to-Self at a Time. He also contributes regularly to NPR's Weekend Edition.
