The past two issues of Esquire magazine are missing the enhanced content (i.e. videos, music, additional photos, etc). They are currently only digital copies of the paper mag. Every issues before included links to videos and other content which made the Nook version a great interactive magazine. Why is this magazine taking a step back in its interactive content? I current subscribe to this Esquire Nook magazine, but if the enhanced content is not returned I will cancel my subscription and stick with GQ, which is a similar type magazine with lots of interactive content.

When I started my Nook subscription, Esquire stood out with content designed for an electronic medium. It was not just a magazine sent electronically, it incorporated multimedia and the articles were presented in a present to read format. Now even though I may enjoy the content, it isn't presented in a way I couldn't get off the web or in PDF. Additionally, with all the ad pages you have to wad through, I might as well deal with the web and its ads. Sadly, it has gone from a well done e-mag to a basically a PDF full of ads.

I subscribe to the print edition of Esquire. Ding #1: I have to further subscribe (as in pay more money) to get the online edition. Ding #2: The online edition, as many point out, is little more than a .pdf of the ink and paper version. There's virtually zero optimization for mobile. The last ding i reserve for B&N, #3: I STILL had to buy it because the way that every other Android devices accesses the "electronic" edition doesn't work.
