Overview

The animal overpopulation problem in this country is much greater than any of us could ever imagine. It is somewhat of a hidden world. Those in rescue see it. This book attempts to give us all a true perspective of the situation. We all need to know, by working together we can make changes for these beloved creatures.
We all don't have to volunteer and donate. This book explains that by educating each other on how to keep the population down, we can make a difference. It also gives advice on what to consider before adopting a pet, what to look for and where to look when adopting a pet, and the responsibility that comes with it.
Training tips are also included.

This book would be a good resource for those who may be considering adopting a pet.

In the beginning of the book there is a small section that contains a few short stories, that are intended to educate children in a gentle way about the overpopulation problem and the responsibility of having a pet.
Although the book contains these stories for children, this book is not intended to be bought for children, but shared with them.

With love and hope for a better tomorrow.....Rhetta

Although the age group on this listing is 1-17, this book is a book for adults as well. Please read the description above.

About the Author

Rhetta has been volunteering and fostering for her local rescue for approximately three years. What she does is small scale compared to others she knows. But one thing for certain, she realized the consequences of animal overpopulation were more horrific than she could even imagine, she felt compelled to educate others as well. She believes by educating each other about the big picture, we can make changes so we no longer contribute to the problem.

Other than writing poetry in her youth and personal journaling over the years, she never felt compelled to write a book. This one was inspired by her passion to make a difference for so many that lose their lives or live in suffering.
