Parker at possibly his absolute best! The depth of character and plot development far exceeds what he has been able to accomplish in any 'single' book. No series here; none needed. This is an interesting study of human development; socially, culturally, and most importantly, emotionally. Longer than his typical novel, Parker takes his time in every aspect of this book but does so in such a manner that you want to continue to follow each and every lead. So much fun to ride this Parker roller coaster! If you enjoy . . . well just about any subject, you'll find something intriguing here; the Irish, police, sex, violence, love (both lost and found) and hate.

I loved this book! Not at first, it started out as a hard read for me. But the Sheridan men grew on me. I liked the twists & turns and the weird love story. Great read! May try more of his books

This book had so many digital errors it made it difficult to read with any pleasure - complete paragraphs misplaced - some at critical times - hope it is not a sign of things to come with digital books.
