The most thoughtful account of current events on why and how women are making decisions. The husband v. cats argument in the first chapter sold me! It combines humor with facts and research, helping you understand past and present in a smart, funny way. Great book for single and married alike!

This book is stocked full of important information about society, government, economics, medicine, history, etc. All women should read it. Men probably won't be as interested in the subject matter, but I highly recommend it to them also.

This book is a fascinating read. Traister not only covers every aspect (social, financial, legal, emotional) of being single in modern America, she places it all in a global and historical context. Well-researched and surprisingly encouraging.
