In ASCENSION the author takes his audience a couple of steps further from where his earlier book THE COMING OF THE LORD ended by leading them 'virtual theme-park' style along a thoroughfare of spiritual principles and instruction to provide additional conditioning and preparation for what is essentially the Rapture. Ascension is taught and introduced not so much as an event but as a graduated experience of being elevated by degrees of sanctification to the plateau of pre- and post-resurrection power and grace.
