If you liked the Killer Next Door Series, then you will LOVE Beholden To You! I love Carlie Sexton's writing style and how the suspense and love story all flow so seamlessly together! I am so glad that Mac and Natalie got their own story! When Natalie Mason's parents died she was devastated but still had her sister. But now after a tragic car accident she is left alone and has to figure out how to keep going. She is devastated and lost. But her best friends, Kate and Charlie, are always there to support her. She just has a hard time letting people in, because she is afraid to lose anyone else. "It was time to take a leap, and have faith a net would be provided to catch me." ~Natalie A chance encounter on Thanksgiving with Mac Carter sparks an immediate connection. And while in Vegas celebrating their friends upcoming wedding everything changes. She wants to keep it a secret, and Mac is willing to do anything to convince her that they are meant to be together. "She was unlike any woman I had ever met and I didn't want to let her slip through my fingers." ~Mac Mac is a handsome and successful businessman. He understand Natalie's fears because he has experienced loss in his own life. Now he just has to convince her that he isn't going to leave her, if she will just open her heart and give him a change to love her! Can we say… SWOON WORTHY! Love me some Mac Carter!!! He is so gentle, passionate and loving with Natalie! You will fall in love with these two! Mac whispered, "Baby, I love you so much. You're my world and I can't imagine my life without you… Let me love you." But sometimes the past doesn't always stay in the past. A jealous ex-girlfriend will not take no for an answer and will go to extreme measures to separate them. And as this is unfolding, Natalie has to be strong and try to get closure at the trial for the man responsible for her sister's death. Can Mac and Natalie's love survive their pasts? Or will someone else tear them apart? Carlie keeps you on your toes the whole book. There were times I was smiling so big my cheeks hurt and others I was crying. This isn't just a love story, it is about healing and letting go of the past, with some added drama tied in. I loved this book and can't wait for more from Ms. Sexton because every book just keeps getting better!

We have all read books that end with the cliff-hanger that leaves us feeling disappointed and short-changed. Carlie Sexton has done the exact opposite. I have read all of her ‘Killer next door’ books where Mac and Natalie are bit players. In the first chapter of this book Carlie throws a curve ball that I would never have imagined. I saw a cartoon that said you know you’re reading a good book when you stop and say f*** me! This was one of those moments. Thankfully Carlie Sexton is a very talented writer and she used that talent to ensure the rest of the book did not disappoint. Far from it – the ups and downs of the characters are carefully woven into the narrative and are believable. Although this is a full length, stand alone novel I would suggest that the ‘Killer next door’ series be read before this book in order to understand the background and make this an even better read.

I was given this book by author for honest review. This book just goes to show that no mater how much you want the past to stay the past it’s gonna come back to you. I enjoyed Natalie’s story and her fighting yet sensitive spirit. And thought Mac was a dream. Suspense and intrigue combine to make this one heck of a romantic tale.

I received a copy in exchange for an honest review as part of a book tour Beholden To You can be read whether you have read The Killer Next Door Trilogy or not. There are some references to what has happened between Kate and Roger but it does not make you all that confused if you haven’t read them. I loved Mac and Natalie, both had lost their parents and although Natalie was the most insecure out of the two as she had also recently lost her sister, there was something about Mac that made her want him. Marrying in Vegas but being so drunk they agree when waking up that they will file for an annulment as soon as they get back home. Neither really want this and Mac goes all out to let Natalie know how much he cares for her even though they have only really just met. This was a lovely romance, with a little bit of a stalker thing going on too. It was well written and I cannot wait to read more from Carlie Sexton.

What happens in Vegas – can be really crazy! Natalie Mason can’t believe when she woke up without her virginity, with a ring on her finger and MARRIED to a man she just met. Granting that Mac Carter is uber hot, rich, oozing with sex appeal, not to mention a gentleman, she was still shocked when she learned she was no longer single. Natalie had so much baggage from her past. She lost her parents in an accident, and her sister as well. Her boyfriend had left her when he was needed the most. She is just trying to pick up the pieces of her life when she met him. But meeting him was fate – more like magic, because they instantly hit it off. The chemistry was undeniable, so was the intense attraction. They have both experience loss in their lives, and Nat was not sure if she was ready to risk her heart. But with wooing, grand gestures and several HOT kisses, she was in trouble. She decided to give Mac a chance. But there’s this psycho ex who wanted Mac for herself and would have him no matter what the cost.  She didn’t get the memo that they have already broken up. Nat, on the other hand, has to face the man responsible for her sister’s death. She didn’t expect to come across an old flame along the way who wanted her back. They were sure they were meant to be together, but with both their past looming above their heads – would their newfound love make it? Beholden To You is a short, sweet read. I like the two characters, their instant connection, and their willingness to give each other a chance to explore whatever their feeling. Nat might have some doubts at first, but in the end, she took the plunge. I was hanging on their, watching how their love blossomed, and waiting for the night in Vegas to have a repeat performance. I so admire Mac’s patience and self-control to wait for Nat to be ready, and to respect her wishes. He’s one heck of a guy. But what I like most about this story is how their maneuvered through their complicated past, and still be together after all that has happened, despite knowing each other for such a short while. Beholden To You tells us a story about how a newly blossoming love can equal the strength and steadfastness of a long-time relationship. It doesn’t matter if you just met – but when you feel that this person is meant for you, and you fully give your trust and that person returns the favor, the relationship will have the chance to prosper.  ¿ARC Copy was given in exchange for an honest review.¿

** spoiler alert ** Beholden to You is a spin-off of Carlie Sexton's The Killer Next Door trilogy, which is absolutely fantastic. BTY tells the story of Mac and Natalie, two friends of Kate and Neil, who first meet around Thanksgiving. The meeting is a bit of a disaster, but the pair seemingly hit it off. When Neil and Kate, and Charlie and Mitch, get engaged and plan a trip to Vegas to celebrate, Mac and Natalie are invited along. BTY starts off with the morning after of their first night in Vegas. Natalie wakes up in bed with Mac, and she discovers that they also apparently got married. She freaks a little, which is understandable, but she is willing to work on just dating Mac and see where things go instead of getting an annulment. The two of them have a very intense whirlwind romance, and soon, Natalie is finding herself unable to resist everything about Mac. The pair eventually reveal their secret to their friends, although Neil and Mitch already know because Mac spills the beans earlier in the story, and they make their marriage official with a real wedding. Overall, Beholden to You is a decent read. I wasn't overly fond of Mac being a bit...pushy, if you will. He seemed to really be rushing into things, and that was the main thing I didn't care for. I prefer longer romances that aren't so quick to happen, I guess you could say. I also wish Natalie had maybe been a little stronger when it came to dealing with her ex, but other than that, I enjoyed the book. It was a fun read, and it was nice to see a couple of the other characters from the KND trilogy have their stories put into words. Even if you haven't read the trilogy, you can still read BTY and understand what's going on. And who knows, maybe it'll encourage you to read the KND trilogy, as well. Definitely recommend anything by Carlie Sexton.

Such a sweet story! Natalie Mason and Mac Carter are in Vegas for a friends wedding festivities. What they didn't plan on was getting married themselves! After a night of too many drinks, that's just what they do. They wake up the next morning confused at what happened yet strangely intrigued and wondering if what happens in Vegas will stay in Vegas or if their "I do's" will stick once they leave. This was a great read full of emotion, drama and romance. I will be checking out more from Carlie Sexton, that's for sure. I give this one 4 stars!

I love Carlie Sexton. She has fast become one of my favourite Author's. With the Trilogy of books - Fallen For You, Given To You and Taken By You, the story of Kate and Neil. Read my review on these on the link above. These story are fast paced, thriller, romance books.  Beholden to you is about Natalie, one of Kate's friends. She's extremely shy. been extremely hut and suffer loss. She has a instant connection to Mac,  Neil's best friend.  Mac ex girlfriend causes all kinds of trouble when they get together.  In Beholden to You We also see Kate and Neil. And some of the character's from the trilogy. Whilst I wouldn't say this is a series, I would recommend reading the previous books.   This book is Amazing. It pulls you in from the beginning. And sets the pace pretty quick. It kept me on the edge of my seat until I had read it.  I love Natalie and Mac. He's Hot girls, what can I say. Another Hot alpha Book Boyfriend. You feel when you read Natalie's story you just want to reach in and give her a big hug.  You have to read this.  Carlie, This book is outstanding. I loved every part of it. I never stopped reading till it finished. You know when you pick up a Carlie Sexton book your not going to be disappointed.  Its well written, Great plot, Fantastic Character's. What more can I say.  I give this 5/5 stars and 3/5 for movie moments

I was given an ARC of Beholden To You to review for Swoon Worthy Books, I fell in love with Mac and Natalie in Ms. Sexton’s The Killer next Door Series and was so excited to see that she was giving Mac and Natalie their own story. I really felt that there could be a really great story with these two characters and trust me she did not disappoint with Beholden To You. Once I started this book I could not stop until it was over. Everything flowed together so well and she brings you suspense throughout the book. After losing her parents at nineteen, Natalie then has to raise her sister Jessica. But when a car accident takes her away also, she is forced to grieve once again until Mac steps into her life. She never wanted to give her heart to another man because her ex- boyfriend broke it so badly, but Mac has a way of opening Natalie up and shows her that she has something that is worth opening her heart up again and letting love in. Mac can relate to Natalie on so many levels. He was faced with losing his parents at such a young age and now he tries to comfort Natalie when she needs someone the most. He just doesn’t expect to fall in love with her in the process. But the question remains can he convince her to give him a chance and see where this romance can lead. But not only does he need to break down her walls, he also is faced with a ex-girlfriend that just won’t leave him alone. Carlie Sexton has done such a great job with this book and I can’t wait to see what she has in store next.

Having not read the Killer next door series yet I wasn’t even aware that there were books prior to this one. There were references to things in this book but nothing too spoilery. If anything it made me curious and I went to Amazon to add them to my “to buy” list. I loved the characters in this book and the story was suspenseful at times yet romantic at others. Mac and Natalie are so sweet together. Mac is a sexy CEO who is also generous, sweet, caring, and very protective. Natalie has dealt with a lot of loss and struggles with trusting people but Mac seems to always anticipate her needs. It was so great to watch their relationship unfold…if if it did happen a little out of order. All of the supporting characters were great as well and I felt like all of these people had personalities that complemented each other and created a great group of people that I thoroughly enjoyed immersing myself in their world. This book has definitely made me want to go back and read the Killer Next Door series. Even though the romance was really fast paced it didn’t feel like it with everything that was going on. The characters were well written and the story flowed well. I really enjoyed getting to know Mac and Natalie and look forward to getting back into that world and reading about Kate and Neil’s story. This was a great 4 star read!

I was really looking forward to seeing what was in store for Mac and Natalie having met them in the Killer Next Door Series. Let me just say they were captivating. I absolutely devoured this book and fell for Mac in the process. Natalie and Mac share a similar past but Natalie has a lot on her plate. Still reeling from the recent loss of her sister Natalie takes comfort in Mac and his ability to make her feel whole.  So what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas unless you turn that moment of insanity into something real and meaningful. Let the swooning begin because I honestly can't think of many men who would sacrifice their own pleasure to make a woman feel as wanted and loved as Mac did.  Now every relationship has their ups and downs but they seemed to have a little bit more than the usual to contend with. I was eagerly turning the pages to see where the story would lead. Hoping all the while that Mac and Natalie would overcome all of the obstacles being thrown at them. The story also allows us to play a alittle catch up with Neil and Kate and Mitch and Charlie. We even get a little "Roger" thrown in for good measure.  Now this is a spinoff from the Killer Next Door series and is a standalone. But if you enjoy this book and want to see how they have gotten to this point, pick up the Killer Next Door series and get ready for a ride.

4 stars! This is a sweet love story between Mac and Natalie, who were introduced in The Killer Next Door series.. Mac and Natalie had met prior to the Vegas trip through mutual friends and felt a connection which resulted in them deciding to go on this trip to become better acquainted. The book begins with Mac and Natalie waking up in Vegas, married, after a night of drinking and dancing. Mac and Natalie decide against getting an annulment and agree to begin dating and see how things go. Although both Mac and Natalie had lost their parents at a young age, Natalie's grief is compounded by the recent death of her younger sister and preparing for the trial of her sister's murderer. Mac is very sweet and considerate of Natalie and the pain she is suffering. I enjoyed watching Natalie work through her grief and become open to loving someone again. Both Mac and Natalie have exes that come back into the picture, wanting a second chance, which creates obstacles for the new relationship. Especially Mac's ex, Cassie, who is a bit psychotic and having a lot of difficulty letting go. Will Mac and Natalie remain married and live happily ever after? It won't be easy, especially if Cassie has anything to do with it. Easy reading, well written story and would definitely recommend to others.

I loved this book. It reads like a modern day fairy tale romance novel. Most women wish we had a night and shining armor come rescue us on a white horse! Natalie has dealt with a lot of heartbreak in her lifetime. She meets the man of her dreams Mac. Is Mac really what he seems to be? Is he a player?  I was sucked into this book from the very first page. I wanted, no I needed to find out what happens with Natalie and Mac. The book starts out very different than any other romance novel I've read so far. It was perfect though and really set the tone for the book. This is the type of book that you find yourself thinking about when you are not reading it. You can't wait to get back to it. I highly recommend this book to any romance novel fan.
