About the Author

Keith Reester is a leading innovator in helping companies and cities drive outstanding performance. Reester is the president of Reester & Associates providing strategic business consulting to companies across the United States and Canada. Keith also delivers high-energy speaking programs to companies and conferences; topics include Generations in the Workplace, DISC communications profiles, and Building Great Businesses.

In January 2015 Reester released his highly reviewed first book Define, Measure, Create – Inspirations on Leadership.

Mr. Reester served as the Public Works Director for the City of Loveland, Colorado for 12 years. While leading the department they received awards ranging from Presidential White House recognition for one of the 100 Most Innovative Stimulus Projects in the nation, American Public Works Association Project of the Year, and Colorado’s top fleet innovation award. Reester also led the City of Loveland emergency flood operations and recovery for the 2013 Colorado floods.

In 2007 Reester served as a Randolph Jennings International Fellow for the Eisenhower Institute to Australia. While a fellow he lead a 5-week speaking and research tour of Australia focused on building the next generation workforce and climate change resiliency strategies. He also serves on the American Public Works Association’s Center for Sustainability.

Reester has also worked for Waste Management in New England and served as a senior consultant with FMI Inc., a leading management consulting firm to the design and construction industry. Project experience includes such high profile efforts as the Denver Broncos stadium, General Motors Global Headquarters at the Renaissance Center, and Colorado’s TREX transportation project.

Reester has a Masters degree from Penn State University and a BA from Alfred University.

On the personal front Keith spends his time adventuring with his family; in the past 20 months Reester has visited Antarctica, Iceland, Alaska and other great locations. He’s blessed to have 2 wonderful children who share his love for adventure.
